Personl Experience with LunarPages
I've done work for clients on LunarPages hosting accounts. I've never had any problems and their hosting control panel and server seemed snappy. Good price for the features as well.

LunarPages has a hosting plan for just about every occasion. PLans include both Windows and Linux in shared, dedicated and VPS formats. I believe they offer starter hosting, email and a quicksite plan as well.
